Account Management Overview

Your account settings allow you to control your Docmint experience, manage billing, and customize preferences for SOP generation and sharing.

How to Access Settings

Log into Dashboard

Sign into your Docmint account and navigate to your main dashboard.

Click Profile Menu

Click on your profile picture or name in the top-right corner to open the account menu.

Select "Account Settings"

Choose "Account Settings" from the dropdown menu to access all configuration options.

Common Account Tasks

Updating Your Plan

To upgrade or downgrade your subscription:

  1. Go to Account Settings → Billing & Subscription
  2. Click "Change Plan" next to your current plan
  3. Select your new plan and confirm the change
  4. Updates take effect immediately (upgrades) or next billing cycle (downgrades)

Managing Payment Methods

To update your payment information:

  1. Navigate to Billing & Subscription settings
  2. Click "Update Payment Method"
  3. Enter new credit card information
  4. Save changes to update your billing method

Downloading Invoices

To access your billing history:

  1. Go to Billing & Subscription settings
  2. Scroll to "Billing History" section
  3. Click "Download" next to any invoice
  4. PDF invoices will download automatically

Enabling Two-Factor Authentication

To secure your account with 2FA:

  1. Visit Security & Privacy settings
  2. Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Scan QR code with authenticator app
  4. Enter verification code to confirm setup

Account Cancellation

If you need to cancel your Docmint account:

  • Subscription Cancellation: Cancel anytime from Billing settings
  • Access Retention: Keep access until end of billing period
  • Data Export: Download your SOPs before cancellation
  • Reactivation: Easy to reactivate if you change your mind

Data Management

Control your data with these options:

  • Export Data: Download all your SOPs and account data
  • Delete Account: Permanently remove your account and all data
  • Data Retention: Understand how long we keep your information
  • Privacy Controls: Manage sharing and visibility settings
